Tarsometatarsal (Lisfranc) osteoarthritis can be a disabling condition and is commonly due to posttraumatic causes. Tarsometatarsal arthrodesis is indicated if the pain does not subdue with conservative treatment. Classically, this is performed as an open procedure.
