Neisseria Mucosa: A New Urinary Tract Pathogen?


ABSTRACT: The most common complication of vesicoureteral reflux is urinary tract infection. We report a case of a urinary tract infection in a child with severe vesicoureteral reflux, caused by Neisseria mucosa, usually considered to be a commensal inhabitant of the oro- or nasopharynx.
