The hypogean genus <i>Dongodytes</i> Deuve, 1993, one of the most cave-adapted genera of ground beetles, is distributed in northern Guangxi, ranging from Mashan through Du'an, Bama, and Fengshan to Tian'e. Review of nominate subgenus Dongodytes Deuve, 1993, with new records for <i>D. fowleri</i> Deuve, 1993 and <i>D. grandis</i> Uéno, 1998 are provided.
