<i>Staphylococcus aureus</i> is a common cause of bloodstream infection and methicillin-resistant <i>S. aureus</i> (MRSA) is a growing threat worldwide. We evaluated the incidence rate of <i>S. aureus</i> bacteremia (SAB) and MRSA from population-based surveillance in all hospitals from two Thai provinces.
