Neuronal intranuclear inclusion disease (NIID) is a rare neurodegenerative disease with marked variety in its clinical manifestations. While characteristic neuroimaging and skin biopsy findings are important clues to the diagnosis, autopsy studies are still important for confirming the exact disease features.
