Angioedema can occur in isolation, accompanied by urticaria, or as a feature of anaphylaxis in mast cell-mediated disorders, bradykinin-mediated disorders, as well as in others with unknown mechanisms, such as infections, rare disorders, or idiopathic angioedema.
