Changes in functional capacity of the contralateral liver lobe after unilobar 90Y-radioembolization – correlation with volumetric measurements (the RadioEmbolization, Volumetry, and Liver funcTion - REVoluTion study)
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Interventions: Group 1: Patients receive a therapy with yttrium-90 radioembolisation, at first only the right hepatic lobe is treated.
In case of the treatment of the whole liver, the therapy is performed sequentially starting with the right liver lobe and than with the left liver lobe 4 weeks later.
Primary outcome(s): To determine the changes in liver function of the nonembolized lobe before and after unilobar radioembolization.LIMONTEST and liver function scintigraphy are performed before and after therapy.
