ABSTRACT: Primary objectives: The primary objective of this study is to establish the sensitivity and specificity of an oral uracil loading test as a potential screening tool for DPD deficiency. Primary endpoints: The sensitivity and specificiy of the uracil loading test, when compared to measurement of DPD activity in blood mononuclear cells as ‘gold standard’.

DISEASE(S): Extreme Toxicity During Of After Chemotherapy With A 5-fluorouracil Of Capecitabine Containing Regimen For Colorectal, Breast Or Head And Neck Cancer.
