RNA-seq data on leaf 8 blade tissue of 62 individual Brassica napus (Darmor) plants grown in the field.

Project description:62 individual Brassica napus plants of the same accession grown in the same field were expression-profiled in autumn 2016 and phenotyped extensively until harvest in spring 2017. Machine learning models were used to link gene expression to the phenotypes of individual plants, with the purpose of assessing how much phenotype information in encoded in ‘noisy’ gene expression variation among individual plants of the same background grown under the same uncontrolled field conditions. Rosette leaf 8 blades of 62 individual Brassica napus plants of the same winter-type accession (BnASSYST-120, Darmor) grown in the same field (50°58'24.9\\"N 3°46'49.1\\"E, Merelbeke, Belgium) were RNA-seq profiled. No treatments or stresses were applied, all plants were profiled individually under uncontrolled field conditions. Sown at 2016-09-08, rosette leaf 8 sampled for RNA-seq at 2016-11-28, plants harvested at 2017-06-13.

BP oil spill - field - gill

Project description:In this study we characterize the gill transcriptome changes that coincide with the arrival of contaminating oil in field-collected Gulf killifish Fundulus grandis. Gill transcription was contrasted before and after the arrival of oil, and between oil impacted and reference sites. Animals were sampled from field sites at four times. The oil impacted site is Grand Terre Island Louisiana (GT) and the two reference sites are Bay St. Louis Mississippi (BSL) and Bayou La Batre Alabama (BLB). The first timepoint (05/01/2010 to 05/09/2010) was before the arrival of contaminating oil, the second and third timepoints (06/28/2010 to 06/29/2010, and 08/30/2010 to 09/01/2010) were after the arrival of contaminating oil, and the fourth timepoint 08/28/2011) was over a year after the arrival of contaminating oil.

Microenvironment-related genes expression profile from lymph nodes of breast cancer patients using OSNA samples

Project description:The One Step Nucleic Acid Amplification (OSNA) assay is used to identify occult metastases in the axillary Sentinel Lymph Nodes (SLNs) of early stage breast cancer patients by quantification of the expression of cytokeratin19 (CK19) gene. The discarded samples of OSNA assay were explored as a source of information of SLN microenvironment response in patients with early stage Luminal A breast cancer using an RNAseq panel.
