Activating AKT1 and PIK3CA mutations in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Activating mutations in AKT1 and PIK3CA are under-characterised in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), but in other cancers are linked to PI3K signaling activation and sensitivity to pathway inhibitors. Our objective was to determine the prevalence, genomic context, and clinical associations of AKT1/PIK3CA activating mutations in mCRPC.
