ABSTRACT: We reported that IL-1R8 serves as a checkpoint for NK cell maturation and effector functions. Its genetic blockade unleashes NK-cell mediated resistance to hepatic carcinogenesis, hematogenous liver and lung metastasis and cytomegalovirus infection.
