Gene expression signatures of Naïve vs Revertant CD8 T cells from human cord blood
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We have employed whole genome microarray expression profiling as a discovery platform to identify genes with the potential to distinguish between naive CD8+ T cells (TN) and the same cells which, after activation and incubation with homeostatic cytokines, had reverted to a naive-like phenotype (TNrev). Three umbilical cord blood samples were used to enrich TN and to produce the respective TNrev. Successive ATAC-Seq analysis showed correlation between degree of chromatin accessibility and gene expression profile for both TN and TNrev cells.
