Expression data from prostate cancer cell line PC3 with JunD knockdown and control cells

ABSTRACT: The development of prostate cancer occurs with uncontrolled cell proliferation which eventually leads to development of highly invasive intraductal carcinoma. This initiation of carcinogenesis in the prostate is primarily dependent on deregulation of genes that control cell proliferation and as a result causes either a loss of inhibitory controls of cell cycle progression or an upregulation of factors which stimulate cell proliferation. JunD, an AP1 transcription factor, has been shown to play an essential role in cell proliferation of PCa cells and regulation of genes required for cell cycle progression.
