Expression data from V194D Matn3 mutant Xbp1 WT and KO P5 mouse costochondral cell preparation


ABSTRACT: Multiple epiphyseal dysplasia (MED) results from mutations in cartilage structural proteins COMP, MATN3 and type IX collage. V194D Matn3 is a mouse model of MED in which a signifficant contribution of ER stress has been detected. In order to test whether ER stress contribution was a beneficial or detrimental component of the disease, V194D Matn3 mice were crossed with a cartilage specific knock-out of Xbp1, and transcriptomic analysis was performed using the Affymetrix 420A Mouse Array.
