RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis of gene expression of ASCs primed by LPS or dsDNA

ABSTRACT: In the inflammatory microenvironment, cytokines and products of pathogens could modulate the phenotype and activity of adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ASCs). So far, the gene expression profiles in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)- or double stranded DNA (dsDNA) -primed ASCs have less been extrapolated. We approached RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis and found that both LPS and dsDNA treatment markedly influence transcriptome regarding cytokine, chemotaxis/inflammatory genes and pattern recognition receptor (PRR) .
