Expression data from primary human bronchial epithelial basal cells from smokers non-COPD and COPD in Air-Liquid Interface (ALI) culture at the on-set of differentiation in absence or presence of TGFb
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Bronchial epithelial basal cells in Air-Liquid interface culture differentiate and reconstitute a bronchial epithelium in 3-4 weeks following a tightly controlled genetic programme where specific sets of genes are up or down-regulated. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression at the on-set of differentiation in absence or presence of TGFb and identified up- and down-regulated genes during this process.
