Project description:Analysis of expression profile of human GEN2.2 cell line RNA expression profile of the human pDC cell line GEN2.2 Total RNA was isolated from GEN2.2 cells growing at log phase with High Pure RNA isolation Kit (Roche Diagnostics, Mannheim, Germany), according with the manufacturer´s instructions in quintuplicate. A total of 300 ng of total RNA was processed using Illumina TotalPrep RNA Amplification Kit. Hybridization of human samples was performed on Illumina Human-HT12 Version 4.

Project description:To investigate the regulatory mechanisms and targets of the activation of NF-kB and inflammatory pathways, we treated HPV(-) head and neck cancer line UM-SCC 46 cells with TNFα and LTβ at different time points, and compared the gene expression by microarray. TNFα uniquely induced 172 genes, LTβ specifically induced 202 genes, while 155 genes were induced by both ligands. Total RNA samples were isolated from UM-SCC 46 cells after TNFα or LTβ treatment at different time points, and the gene expression were compared with untreated cell controls.

Expression data from DKAT breast cancer cell line pre- and post-EMT

Project description:The DKAT cell line is a novel model of triple-negative breast cancer that was isolated from the pleural effusion of a 35 year-old caucasian woman with triple-negative breast cancer. When cultured in serum-free media (MEGM, Lonza) this cell line exhibits an epithelial morphology and gene expression pattern. However, when cultured in the presence of serum (SCGM, Lonza) it undergoes a reversible EMT. We used microarrays to look at gene expression changes in the DKAT cell line when cultured in Mammary Epithelial Growth Media (MEGM, where DKAT cells have an epithelial morphology) vs Stromal Cell Growth Media (SCGM, where DKAT cells have a mesenchymal morphology).

Project description:In order to identify the genes regulated in mouse embryonic stem cells (mESC) by the effect of low concentrations of nitric oxide (NO), we analysed the transcriptome of cells treated with NO and compared it to those of cells cultured in the absence of leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), and in the presence of LIF. We used the cell line D3-pOct4, which carries the enhanced Green Fluorescence Protein gene (eGFP) under the control of the Oct-4 promotor. This line is continuously maintained in the undifferentiated state in the presence of LIF, in comparison with the wild type line .
