Dietary-phytochemical mediated reversion of cancer-specific splicing inhibits Warburg effect in head and neck cancer

ABSTRACT: It’s a well-established fact that epigenetic changes regulate alternative splicing in a context-dependent manner, as well as the epigenetic modifying effect of curcumin, is known in cancer. In this study, we have investigated the role of curcumin in the regulation of alternative splicing through epigenetic alterations. We performed Human Transcriptome Array 2.0 to understand the global changes in gene expression as well as alternative splicing upon curcumin-PEC treatment.
