ABSTRACT: We developed diffuse glioma cells with H3F3A_K27M mutation.K27M diffuse glioma cells have high migration ability and maintain close contact with neurons with immature neuron-like properties.K27M cells produce neurotrophic factors and lactic acid and affect neurite growth and differentiation/suppression of surrounding neurons. K27M diffuse glioma cells show an invasion type and gene expression patterns similar to those of human glioma.
