Human inflammatory mucosal T cells in the female reproductive tract are poised to participate in immunity to infection


ABSTRACT: The hypothesis is that HIV affects TRM, by decreasing their numbers and possibly affecting their function. In order to be able to analyse several HIV+ and HIV- samples, we would need to identify some markers for TRM that can be used for flow cytometry-based detection of TRM.
