Transcriptome profiling of human bone marrow stem cells (HBMSC) and tumorigenic sublines
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We generated a novel subline (clone 6; Sample B) from the human bone marrow stem cell culture [HBMSC 3.5 (Sample A)] and demonstrated its in vivo tumorigenicity by growth as xenograft tumors both in the mammary fat pad (MFP; Sample C) pad and subcutaneously (Sample D). In order to gain insight into the molecular basis of their biological properties, phenotypic differences, and correlation to clinical cancer, we performed RNA-Sequencing (RNA-Seq) analysis of each of the samples to comprehensively characterize the transcriptome of each of the samples.
