Transcriptomics analysis of cells treated with Schizocommunin and its analogue
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Schizocommunin is a natural alkaloid produced from the Schizophyllum commune fungus. In 1994, the first case of allergic bronchopulmonary mycosis caused by the fungus was described. We sought to determine the effects of Schizocommunin treatment on the human transcriptome to identify mechanisms through which the pathogen may be causing the allergic response.
