Single-cell RNA sequence of ovarian tissues at E16.5, postnatal day 0 (PD0) and postnatal day 3 (PD3) with C57/BL6J mouse
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The ovarian tissues at E16.5, postnatal 0 day (PD0 ) and 3 days (PD3) in mice were collected to perform single-cell RNA sequence (scRNA-seq) in this study. The transcriptome landscape of different cell types contributed to discern the intrinsic mechanism of early folliculogenesis, and the developmental stage-specific germline and somatic cells were defined to reveal their genetic programs along with follicle development as well as their regulative molecules and interaction signals. Synthetically, this single cell transcriptomic map of germ cells and granulosa cells would be deemed as a fundamental genetic programs of primordial follicle assembly in mice.
