ABSTRACT: We develop a FACS-based method to sort different cell types of larval Drosophila brain and perform chromatin immunoprecipitation with histone modifications: H3K4me3 for active mark and H3k27me3 for repressive mark. We then sequence chromatin immunoprecipitated DNA in order to examine the chromatin state changes in neurogenesis as well as in tumorigenesis.
