Endothelial Heterogeneity Across Distinct Vascular Beds During Homeostasis and Inflammation Using RiboTag Strategy
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Several studies have suggested that endothelial cells which line the blood vessels in each organ significantly differ from each other, but little is known about their distinct and characteristic signatures. We assessed the brain, lung, and heart endothelial translatome using the RiboTag mouse model which allows for the direct isolation of cell-type specific ribosomes and the mRNA undergoing translation.
