Circulating serum microRNAs as potential diagnostic biomarkers of post-traumatic stress disorder: A pilot study
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In this pilot study, we analyzed serum microRNA profiles of subjects with post-traumatic stress disorders in order to determine their potential to be used as diagnostic biomarkers. We discovered that serum microRNAs could potentially serve as diagnostic biomarkers of PTSD, both individually or grouped within a cluster of co-expressed miRNAs.
