Transcriptional profiling of neurons in the dentate gyrus in a Penk-TRAP (NIDA186) mouse line

ABSTRACT: TRAP translational profiling is a method that allows investigators to genetically characterize specific cell types in complex tissues such as mouse brain. Using this technique we obtained RNA-Seq data from actively translating transcripts present in neurons in the dentate gyrus of adult Penk-EGFP/Rpl10a (NIDA186) mice.
