SPIN reveals genome-wide landscape of nuclear compartmentalization
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We develop a new computational method called SPIN (Spatial Position Inference of the Nuclear genome) to identify genome-wide chromosome localization patterns relative to multiple nuclear compartments. SPIN states correlations with other features of genome structure and function, such as Hi-C subcompartments, TADs (Dixon et al., 2012; Nora et al., 2012), histone modification, and DNA replication timing.
