DNA methylation of leukocytes from sporadic breast cancer patients and healthy controls in Latin American population
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The study aimed to compare the DNA methylation differences between blood samples from sporadic breast cancer patients and healthy controls from a well-defined cohort in Uruguayan population. Infinium methylation arrays (450K Illumina) are used to identify genome-wide methylation differences between groups. The identified differently methylated CpG were further analyzed in an independent cohort of 80 breast cancer patients and 80 healthy controls.
