Transcriptional portrait of M. bovis BCG during in vitro biofilm production shows genes differentially expressed during intercellular aggregation and substrate attachment.

ABSTRACT: By RNA-seq analysis, we monitored the early steps of biofilm production in BCG, to distinguish intercellular aggregation from attachment to a surface, and found a number of genes being differentially expressed at these stages.

ORGANISM(S): Mycobacterium tuberculosis variant bovis BCG
