ABSTRACT: In this study, 10x Chromium technology was applied to quantify transcripts from single-cell nuclei of adult male and female brain of Aedes aegypti, a medically important mosquito vector that transmits yellow fever, dengue, chikungunya, and Zika viruses to humans.
