ABSTRACT: We studied the effects of polyamine pathway inhibitors on differentiation of pathogenic and nonpathogenic Th17 cells in vitro. Here, we used difluoromethylornithine (DFMO), an irreversible inhibitor of ODC1, the enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of ornithine to putrescine.
