ABSTRACT: Circadian rhythms in NAD+ bioavailabity are present in many tissues. Also, a pronounced depletion in NAD+ levels is observed in diet-induced obesity. This study was designed to investigate transcriptional responses triggered by a timed treatment with NAD+ which recovers heptaic NAD+ oscilations in obese mice, and ameliorates their metabolic dysfunction.
