Single-cell RNA sequencing to identify 51248 single cells from periodontal tissues of healthy humans and periodontitis patients with or without treatment
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Single-cell transcriptomics were used to comprehensively resolve the osteoimmunology microenvironment that are involved in periodontal tissues from human chronic periodontitis before and after nonsurgical periodontal therapy, as well as clinically healthy controls. This allows unbiased assessment of many heterogeneous cells at the single-cell level, hence revealing complexities of the molecular components and differences with counterparts residing in periodontal tissues.
