Activation dependent gene expression in Treg cells compared to various inhibitory factors
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Regulatory T (Treg) cells are involved in self tolerance and suppression of immunity to pathogens or tumours. FOXP3 is essential for Treg cell development and function. However, the FOXP3-dependent molecular mechanisms are not well understood. Here we compare the expression levels in CD4+ as well as Treg cells in reponse to different treatments in order to evaluate the Treg cell specific gene expression profile.
