Bulk RNA-seq on NOD mice prostate tissues treated with etanercept
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Immunohistochemistry studies indicated that etanercept treatment reduced inflammation, epithlial proliferation, and epithelial NFkB activity in NOD prostate tissues compared to control treated mice. A bulk RNA-seq study was conducted on whole mouse prostate tissues from NOD mice treated with PBS control or etanercept for 5 weeks to identify putative pathways involved in these processes. These analyses determined differentially expressed genes and numerous enriched pathways yielding a greater understanding of pathways involved in prostate regression and inhibition of inflammation.
