Gene expression profiles of colorectal cancer tissues and tumor-adjacant tissues reveal key genes that participate in oncogenic activities
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To investigate the key genes involved in the inception and progression of colorectal cancer, we obtained tumor and tumor-adjacant tissues from CRC patients who underwent surgical resection and sent them to high-throughput sequencing. In this study, we compared the gene expression profiles of tumor tissues and normal tissues, aiming at identifying differentially expressed genes. Our study revealed a set of differentially expressed genes that may participate in the oncogenic activities during CRC inception and development.
