Gene expression profile at single cell level of human cerebral organoid transplants harvested from the mouse brain.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Transplanted human cerebal organoids were developed from induced pluripotent stem cells that were reprogrammed from human urine-contained epithelial cells. Immune-compromised mice with brain lesions caused by distal middle cerebral artery occlusion (dMCAO) were used as recipients for transplantation. The organoids were grafted at the lesion cavity. Each transplant sample was collected from the brain of a mouse, disassociated, and sequenced using a 10x Genomics single-cell RNA-sequencing platform.
