Genome-wide transcriptional profiling reveals PHACTR1 as a new molecular target of Resveratrol in endothelial homeostasis
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Resveratrol (RES), a polyphenol found in plants and fruits, prevents cardiovascular disease through a variety of signaling pathways. RES plays a pleiotropic and atheroprotective role in the vascular system, and its mechanism is not fully understood. Transcriptome sequencing and bioinformatics analysis of RES-treated human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) suggest that differentially expressed mrnas may be new targets for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
