Spatiotemporal modeling of chemoresistance evolution in breast tumors uncovers dependencies on SLC38A7 and SLC46A1
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In solid tumors, drug concentrations decrease with distance from blood vessels; however, the cellular adaptations accompanying gradated exposure of cancer cells to drugs are largely unknown. We thus profiled the changes in gene expression through a gradient of concentrations for two anthracyclines commonly used to treat breast cancer, doxorubicin and epirubicin.
