Expression data from male and female mice fed with two type of high fat diet (45% - 45HFD and 60%-60HFD) and matched controls fed with standard diet (STD)
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: High caloric regimen affects brain functions leading to metabolic dysfunction and obesity and represents a risk factor for mental illness and dementia. To better understand the mechanisms underlying this process, we evaluated the effects of a prolonged exposure to high fat diet on cerebral glucose metabolism, inflammation, neuronal plasticity and transcriptome changes. We used Clariom S microarrays on GeneChip® Scanner 3000 7G to detect gene expression changes during high fat diet regimen inducing metabolic syndrome in young/adult male and female wt mice in anterior cortex and cerebellar region
