Regulation of c-Myc function by centromeric protein KLIP1
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In this study, we show that the centromeric Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) latent nuclear antigen (LANA)-interacting protein 1 (KLIP1) is a novel regulator of the c-Myc pathway. A series of microarray experiments were designed to demonstrate that the expression levels of KLIP1 protein are inversely correlated with cell proliferation, and the expression of c-Myc targets.
