Modelling host-Trypanosoma brucei gambiense interactions in vitro using human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cortical brain organoids
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To explore whether iPSC-derived human brain organoids can be used to model brain-trypanosoma interactions as alternative models to mice. We performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of iPSC-derived human brain organoids co-cultured with T. brucei gambiense for 24 and 72 hours, and included untreated controls.
