ABSTRACT: Yeast mRNA decapping-activators Pat1 and Dhh1 have been implicated in repressing translation and mRNA degardation in glucose-deprived cells, but the specific mRNAs targeted by each factor and their functions in nutrient replete cells are poorly understood.
