Unraveling the Transcriptome Profile of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Stimulation in Bone Regeneration Using an In Vitro Investigation Platform Based on a Perfusion Bioreactor and 3D Printed Bone Tissue-Like Scaffolds

ABSTRACT: A global transcriptome profiling was performed by RNA-seq on human BM-MSCs exposed to biomechanical stimulation (perfusion) and biophysical stimulation (PEMF stimualtion) and the set of pathways and upstream regulators were detected using bioinformtic tools to determine how biophysical stimulation induce biological effects.
