Genomewide temporal landscape of DNA methylation in pregnant women delivering at term in GARBH-InI cohort
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Genome wide DNA methylation profiling of peripheral blood DNA collected from pregnant individuals throughout three time points (11-14 weeks, 18-20 weeks, 26-28 weeks) across the period of gestation and at term delivery (>37 weeks of gestation). Illumina Infinium EPIC Human DNA methylation Beadchip v1.2.8 was used to obtain DNA methylation profiles across approximately 850k CpGs. Maternal peripheral blood samples were collected in EDTA vacutainers. The goal was to identify temporal DNA methylation changes in maternal peripheral blood during the period of gestation and associate their impact on biological pathways critical for term delivery.
