Epithelial overexpression of IL-33 induces eosinophilic esophagitis dependent on IL-13
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To examine the role of the epithelial-derived cytokine, IL-33, in eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) pathogenesis we developed a novel mouse model (EoE33) in which a secreted and active form of IL-33 is overexpressed by esophageal epithelial cells.
