Effect of BMP4 overexpression in MycCaP cells on TAMs in ostegenic prostate tumors
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) play an important role in cancer progression and have been implicated to play a role in prostate cancer. However, TAMs in osteogenic prostate cancer bone metastasis have not been characterized. Here we used a novel osteogenic MycCaP-BMP4 model to study the unique cellular and molecular mechanisms in driving the tumor progression in osteogenic prostate cancer metastasis.
