Decoding the occupancy of RNA polymerase I on rDNA
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In order to deeply analyze the role of ribosome biogenesis associated proteins (RiBPs) in the development of breast cancer, we used chromatin immunoprecipitation combined with high-throughput sequencing (CHIP-seq) to detect the occupancy of RNA polymerase I on rDNA under the condition of RiBP knockout. In order to confirm the regulatory effect of RiBP on the transcriptional activity of pol I, the molecular mechanism of ribosome biogenesis associated proteins in promoting the malignant progression of breast tumors was further elaborated.
