SLC13A5 plays an essential role in the energy shift to oxidative phosphorylation in cisplatin-resistant mesothelioma stem cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To explore new therapeutic approaches, we identified genes specifically expressed in mesothelioma stem cell-like cells derived from human mesothelioma cell lines using hydrogel-based stem cell induction method. Gene expression in ACC-MESO-4 cells cultured on double network (DN) hydrogel composed of poly(2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid) (PAMPS) and poly(N,N’-dimethylacrylamide) (PDMAAm) was compared to that on control polystyrene (PS) dish and on ultra-low attachment (ULA) dish, a classical method for enriching stem cells.
